Sub domains are used when you want to create a sub site of your current website. Eg. http://test.yourdomain.com To add a sub domain, follow these simple steps : - Click into the 'Sub Domains' section from 'Advanced Settings'
- Click 'Add New' and choose the 'Sub Domain Name'
- Click 'Save'
- Now when you visit http://test.yourdomain.com your new sub domain is accessible. Content for the sub domain can be uploaded to the main 'wwwroot' folder within the current domain. Eg. sub domain is 'test', the domain is yourdomain.com, when you ftp to yourdomain.com, there will be a folder in the 'wwwroot' called 'test', place all content for this sub domain therein.
